I have been practicing Social Work since 2011. I joined the Safe Harbor team in 2016.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a Master’s degree in Social Work. I have been a dedicated member of Northern Pines since 2011, bringing a wealth of experience in mental health and crisis intervention. My background includes roles as a Mental Health Behavior Aide, In-Home Skills Practitioner, Children’s Mental Health County Agency Social Worker, Early Childhood Counselor, and School-Based Therapist. My passion for helping individuals in crisis led me to become the Treatment Director and Clinical Supervisor at Safe Harbor IRTS/RCS. In July 2024, I expanded my role in crisis services, transitioning to Director of Mobile Crisis Outreach and the Mental Health Urgent Care Center.

I have worked with clients across all walks of life but currently work with individuals who are 18+, and are experiencing a sub-acute mental health crisis.

Often I get the humbling experiencing of meeting individuals when they are at one of the lowest points in their life. It is rewarding to be able to assist individuals to facilitate change in such a short time period. I am privileged to be the Director of such dedicated staff members who whole heartedly put in the time and effort to help individuals succeed.

I appreciate Northern Pines flexibility. They are understanding when it comes to personal matters and family responsibilities. One of the benefits of working at Northern Pines is the generous PTO which allows employees to have a healthy work-life balance.

I live with my husband and two children in Brainerd, MN. I’ve lived in the Brainerd Lakes Area my entire life, growing up near Fort Ripley. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, participating in community events/activities, crafting, camping, four-wheeling, and ice fishing.
